Summer Wrap Up
Hello Peeps!
Forgive the long absence. My brain fried due to overexposure to heat and children. However, the eagerly (oops did I just hit the bold key?!) anticipated day has come* and I have sent them all** back to our beloved schools*** for 6 great hours of learning and.....on my end.....projects.
Speaking of school starting....I found these little $2 pencil cases at Target and it was all I could do to not buy the entire shelf-load. I restrained, and just bought one in each color instead. I thought they would be perfect for those little thing-a-ma-bobs that lie around.
And yes, here's my PSA for the weeks: they fit those 8" dpns just perfectly!
I am itching to get out my bucket of sharpies and color in all that white space. Yes. In my fantasy spare time I will do just that.
Speaking of projects: it's quilt-city here. There's the Love Quilt that I basted last spring and then it sat all summer waiting for quilting.
There's this (sneak peek) quilt that I fused last spring and it sat all summer waiting for quilting.
So I guess I better get quilting. I hope you all had a good summer and please tell me about your projects!
Love,
Emily
*ooh--does somebody have a brand new cow lunch box?!
